1. Q-How long have you been in business?
   
   A- Since 2002. We are currently changing the structure of our company to an LLC.



2. Q-Who would estimate my project?
   
   A- Timothy “Mac” McAuliffe, owner of Macs Lawn Care, does all the estimates. He is also on the job from start to finish to insure you are satisfied 100% and to maintain quality control.



3. Q-What is the normal wait prior to a project being started?
   
   A- Anywhere from 2 weeks up to 8 weeks because we are usually booked up to several weeks in advance. We recommend that you contact us with your project needs ASAP to avoid a long waiting period.



4. Q-How much of a deposit do I have to put down prior to any work being done?
   
   A- It depends on the project but anywhere from 25% to 75%. We also allow you to write a check directly to our suppliers for materials which not many contractors do.



5. Q-Do I have to sign a contract before any work can be done?
   
   A- Yes. A contract makes sure that both parties are completely aware of what type of work will be done and when payments will need to be made.



6. Q-How can we see your previous work or past jobs?
   
   A- In our gallery page you can find some of our work from last year, but a quick trip to our office will enable you to see several past jobs as well as customer references.



7. Q-Are you fully insured?
   
   A- Yes we are. We can provide you with a copy of our insurance certificate upon request.



8. Q-What type of block do you use for your retaining wall projects?
   
   A- We use all Versa-Lok block that comes in a wide variety of colors and styles.



9. Q-Are you and your staff certified to build retaining walls?
   
   A-Yes. Myself and my entire staff are certified to build Versa-Lok retaining walls.



10. Q-Do your employees wear uniforms?
    
    A- Yes. We all wear khaki shorts or pants and Mac’s Lawn Care T-shirts or shirts.



11. Q-How often do you bill your lawn care customers?
    
    A-We bill bi-monthly, the 1st and the 15th of every month. For Seniors, we bill 1 time a month after the 1st.



12. Q-Do you give Senior citizen discounts?
    
    A-Yes we do as well as Veteran Discounts



13. Q-Do you fertilize or use weed control?
    
    A- We can provide you with these services but we use a professional sub contractor to perform these services because the state requires these people to be certified.



14. Q-Why would I have you fertilize my yard then?
    
    A- We would contact the sub contractor after we cut your lawn to have them do the application. This allows for the best results. Most fertilizer companies come and apply at any time. This way, we know you have had an application and we know how long to wait to cut your yard again to give you the best results.
